Driving Customers To Stores

When global water, fluid, and thermal management giant Pentair decided to re-vitalise its Australian brand OngaPumpShop, improved support for its dealer network was high on the agenda. Local marketing specialists, RedFred Creative PTY, were engaged to provide ideas and visuals for a new product-focused web-presence designed to improve conversion of online visits into footfall within its network of distributor stores.

Following discussions with the UK division of RedFred, we were thrilled to be engaged to deliver the new website, including our DealerChannelpro Dealer Locator, Redemption Scheme Manager, and Click-and-Collect modules as part of the solution.

Optimised for tablet and mobile, the new web-presence is designed to work elegantly on small screen devices and low-bandwidth connectivity.

The website is constructed using an object-based Content Management system, making it easy for the team at Pentair to update imagery, text, and product materials on the site. Managed product information includes downloadable data sheets in PDF form, product prices, discount promotions, and embeded YouTube videos of TV adverts.

Dealer Locator

Our Dealer Locator module is integrated into the solution, allowing end-customers to locate their nearest OngaPumpShop outlets. Linking to Google's geo-coding service, Pentair staff are able to add new outlets as needed, uploading address and contact details for the store, which are then automatically geo-coded using Google's geo-mapping service.

Click-andCollect

An extension to the Dealer Locator function, called Click-and-Collect, allows certain products to be designated for online order with in-store collection. When a visitor uses the Click-and-Collect link in the product page, they are presented with a number of stores close to their address, from which they can select a collection store.

Redemption Manager

A key part of the OngaPumpShop marketing strategy involved offering a loyalty programme called StarCash allowing customers to register their purchases online in return for loyalty points. These points can then be redeemed in the form of vouchers or pre-paid cards. Our Redemption module was used to manage the scheme, and we provided tools to allow Pentair to manage multiple promotions, allowing download of redemption data for each promotion.
